The Wyoming Regional ARFF Training Facility was renovated in 2021. A new, modern, state-of-the-art classroom was added as well as a new 3,000-gallon Oshkosh Striker with a Snozzle HRET.
Our commitment to giving each trainee the best possible training is evident in our classroom as well as our realistic firefighting experiences. We use diesel fuel for burns, providing a more realistic firefighting experience than other fuel mediums or simulations.
We have a diverse fleet of ARFF trucks from multiple manufacturers including a 2021 Oshkosh Striker 3000 (3,000 gallons), a 2008 Rosenbauer Panthers (1,500 gallons), and an Oshkosh Striker 3000 with HRET (3,000 gallons) so you are equipped and trained for work at any location.
This in-depth course covers the eleven required subjects under Part 139. The curriculum includes classroom instruction as well as hands-on, practical training utilizing firefighting/rescue equipment and procedures.
This class includes an ARFF topic review, safety briefing, and a live burn in accordance with the Part 139 requirements.
This two-day course will provide training on turret and hand-line operations on various fire evolutions.
